The “good food thrown away” is a problem that many people face. According to the National Resources Defense Council, the 10 groceries that people throw out the most are bread, milk, bananas, eggs, celery, potatoes and more.

People want “beautiful” food
A third of this waste is attributable to fruits and vegetables that are discarded even before they reach grocery shops because they are judged to “unattractive” for customers. The top 10 foods worldwide that are discarded without being eaten are shown below.
