Do you often find yourself tossing food away? Even if you aren’t quite ready to consume it, there are various methods to use your food before it expires. Many foods may be canned, pickled, or preserved. Fruits and vegetables can also be dried in a dehydrator. Stale bread can even be used to create bread crumbs or croutons.

Of course, one of the best ways to extend the shelf life of food is to freeze it before it spoils.
