While social networking is a wonderful place to start, you’ll also need a location to display your writing portfolio.
Setting up a website, on the other hand, may be intimidating.

I really taught myself how to do it, despite my lack of technical skills! In this article, I’ll show you how I created my own website so that you may do the same.

#1. Decide on a domain name for your website.
This will be simple since you will be able to pick your own name. It’s not like a blog, where you may spend hours pondering what to name it!

When you’re ready to start building your writer’s website, go to this Bluehost page:

#4. You’ll be prompted to register an account and fill out the required details.

There are a variety of free themes available, or you may pay for a premium theme. When I say “premium,” I mean they’re still fairly affordable – most are between $39 and $49.

#1. After you’ve established a new password, you’ll be prompted to choose a WordPress theme. You may change this at any time, so don’t worry about choosing one now; you won’t be trapped with it.
#2. You can now begin to construct your blog. Select “Start Building” from the drop-down menu.
#3. Next, choose whether you want to create a business or personal website (or just do it yourself by selecting “I don’t need assistance”).
